The Suffolk County Department of Fire, Rescue, and Emergency Services has divided the county into 10 divisions. Each division is based upon town boundaries, starting from the west and moving east. The divisions are configured as follows:

The radio frequencies used by each department are also assigned by division with some exceptions. Some departments have chosen to use their own "private" frequencies rather than the division frequency.
